It takes just one little community at a time. This little community that goes by the name of St. Michael the Archangel will be resettled from the dumpsite of Catmon, Malabon to a barangay called Santulan, also in Malabon. They will pay for the land to EMME Foundation at PhP 1,000 a month, for 200 months, and build their homes, with the assistance of the Diocese of Kalookan’s Urban Poor Ministry under Caritas-CSSD, in partnership with Couples for Christ’s program, ANCOP, meaning, answering the cry of the poor. They will be producing their own hollow blocks, which will be called “holy blocks”, with assistance from Tanging Yaman Foundation. While they build their homes, they will also be assisted in building themselves as a community through a formation program for spiritual renewal, livelihood and scholarship.

The Lord hears the cry of the poor!
