This means a lot more, now, as I have developed a small case of Bursitis in my knee which prohibits me from kneeling on a hardwood floor, at least in the small OF Masses I attend a a regular, weekday basis.

Hello Sebastian. Sorry for the late reply.

[This means a lot more, now, as I have developed a small case of Bursitis in my knee which prohibits me from kneeling on a hardwood floor, at least in the small OF Masses I attend a a regular, weekday basis.]

Our Church encourages us to kneel in worship of God and we give that latria to the Lord Jesus [cf. Phil 2:6-11]. WE KNEEL AT THE FEET OF JESUS.

However, our Church is always merciful and reasonable. People who are sick like those in wheelchairs, those who are suffering acute rheumatism on the knees or like you suffering Bursitis which prohibits you to kneel then you and other sick people are excuse from kneeling. Stay sitting and simply bow your heads. Replace kneeling with respectful bow to worship the King.
